The Mice Step Out!

The Mice's Holiday

LadyMouse takes the children to see a holiday village

The mice decide to go caroling with their friends. "We have to practice first," says GentlemanMouse.

"Why?" asks ToddlerMouse.

"So we will sound good. You always need to practice to make music," says GentlemanMouse.

So they find their song books and practice at home.

"This book is too big," says ToddlerMouse.

"We will share one when we go caroling," says his sister.

"Why?" asks ToddlerMouse.

They practice all evening. And when they go out with their friends, they all sing beautifully.

"Villagers all, this frosty tide,
Let your doors swing open wide,
Though wind may follow, and snow beside,
Yet draw us in by your fire to bide;
Joy shall be yours in the morning!"

SantaMouse comes to the mouse house when the children mice are fast asleep!

Or are supposed to be asleep...
